Oveda began painting over ten years ago as a way to not only decorate her home, but to relieve stress from a demanding work and travel schedule.  With an affinity towards bold and vibrant tones, her work is mostly abstracts in acrylic on canvas paintings with a few pieces of photography.  A life long Chicagoan, Oveda currently resides on the South side of Chicago.
